The House of Delegates (Afrikaans: Raad van Afgevaardigdes) was a body in the Tricameral Parliament of South Africa which existed from 1984 to 1994. It was reserved for Indian South Africans. The body was elected twice; in 1984 and 1989. It was the second time in South Africa's history that Indians had ever had any sort of representation at the national level, the first being the South African Indian Council. It was originally to be called the Chamber of Deputies.

The debating chamber of the House of Delegates located in Marks Building, a new building that was located across the road from Houses of Parliament, Cape Town. The executive arm of the House of Delegates was a Ministers' Council, led by a Chairman.The civil service that dealt with Indian "own affairs" (including education, health and welfare, local government, housing and agriculture) was called Administration: House of Delegates, and was based in Durban. (en) De Raad van Afgevaardigden (Afrikaans: Raad van Afgevaardigdes, Engels: House of Delegates) was een van de drie kamers van het drieledige parlement van de Republiek Zuid-Afrika in de periode 1984-1994. Op 3 september 1984 trad de nieuwe in werking die voorzag in een driekamerparlement. Een van de nieuwe kamers van het parlement was de Raad van Afgevaardigden die bestond uit afgevaardigden van de Indiërs in Zuid-Afrika. Op 18 september 1984 werd de eerste zitting van de Raad van Afgevaardigden geopend door voorzitter. Uit de Raad werd een ministerraad samengesteld die de belangen moest behartigen van de Indiase bevolking. Overigens bezat de Raad geen wetgevende macht, maar slechts adviserende bevoegdheden: ieder wetsvoorstel van de Raad moest worden goedgekeurd door de (blanke) regering van Zuid-Afrika. In 1994, met het in werking treden van de nieuwe grondwet verdween het Huis van Afgevaardigden. (nl)
