Robert Chapatte (14 October 1921 – 19 January 1997) was a French cyclist and sports journalist, voice of the Tour de France on television and radio and the inventor of Chapatte's Law.

Robert Chapatte, né le 14 octobre 1921 à Neuilly-sur-Seine et mort le 19 janvier 1997 à Paris, est un coureur cycliste français reconverti dans le journalisme sportif à la télévision. Il est le père de Dominique Chapatte, journaliste à M6. Il est inhumé au cimetière ancien de Neuilly-sur-Seine. (fr)
Robert Chapatte (Neuilly-sur-Seine, 14 d'octubre de 1922 - París, 17 d'agost de 2002) va ser un ciclista i periodista francès. Com a ciclista fou professional entre 1944 i 1952. Va combinar la carretera amb el ciclisme en pista. Va disputar diferents edicions del Tour de França. Després de la seva carrera esportiva va esdevenir periodista esportiu per diferents diaris i ràdios. Posteriorment va passar a la televisió on va col·laborar i presentar diferents programes d'esports. (ca)
