George Goddard (20 December 1903 – 1987) was a professional footballer who played as a centre forward in the 1920s and 1930s, notably with Queens Park Rangers F.C., for whom he scored 174 Football League goals. After leaving QPR he had spells with Brentford, Wolves, Sunderland, and Southend United.At QPR, he scored the most league goals in total aggregate, most league goals in a season (with 37 in 1929-30) and scored 4 goals in a single match on 4 separate occasions (this has only been matched by Tommy Cheetham).
