Sam Benjamin Cosgrove (born 2 December 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for EFL League One club Plymouth Argyle on loan from Birmingham City of the EFL Championship. He previously played in the Football League for Carlisle United and on loan at Shrewsbury Town, was on the books of Wigan Athletic without playing for their league team, and had a successful three seasons with Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership. He also spent loan spells in non-league football with Barrow, Chorley, Nantwich Town and North Ferriby United.
