| - Viaje al fondo del mar (título original en inglés, Voyage to the Bottom of Sea) es una serie de televisión estadounidense, de aventuras submarinas y ciencia ficción, de la década de 1960 que se basó en el filme homónimo de 1961. Tanto la teleserie como el filme fueron creados por Irwin Allen, que adaptó los estudios de cine, la indumentaria, los modelos de efectos especiales y, a veces, hasta el metraje para su utilización en la producción de series de televisión. Viaje al fondo del mar fue la primera de cuatro series de ciencia ficción en televisión realizadas por Allen, siendo las otras El túnel del tiempo, Perdidos en el espacio y Tierra de gigantes. El tema principal del programa se enfocaba en aventuras submarinas a bordo del submarino Seaview. (es)

La série a été doublée au Québec et diffusée à partir du 6 septembre 1968 à la Télévision de Radio-Canada, et en France à partir du 26 octobre 1969 sur la deuxième chaîne de l'ORTF ainsi que sur TMC et Télé Luxembourg. Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea was the first of Irwin Allen's four science fiction television series (the three others being Lost in Space, The Time Tunnel, and Land of the Giants), and the longest-running. - Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (No Brasil: Viagem ao Fundo do Mar) foi uma série de televisão de ficção científica, baseada no filme de mesmo nome, estrelada por Richard Basehart, como o Almirante Nelson, e David Hedison, como o Capitão Crane. A série contava as venturas e desventuras do submarino Seaview em suas missões. No primeiro ano, os episódios foram filmados em preto e branco. Nessa primeira temporada, o tema quase sempre foi a Guerra Fria, sendo os inimigos recorrentes os comunistas, normalmente de países fictícios mas que nos remetiam, quase sempre, aos soviéticos e os cubanos.
