The Raid on the Suez Canal, also known as Actions on the Suez Canal, took place between 26 January and 4 February 1915 when a German-led Ottoman Army force advanced from Southern Palestine to attack the British Empire-protected Suez Canal, marking the beginning of the Sinai and Palestine Campaign (1915–1918) of World War I (1914–1918). Substantial Ottoman forces crossed the Sinai peninsula, but their attack failed – mainly because of strongly held defences and alert defenders.

(en) حملة ترعة السويس الأولى (وتعرف كذلك بحملة السفربرلك): (28/1/1915 - 3/2/1915) هي حملة عسكرية شنتها الدولة العثمانية على القوات البريطانية في مصر خلال الحرب العالمية الأولى للاستيلاء على قناة السويس، لكن بعد فشلهم في ذلك تم إرسال الرجال للقتال في أوروبا. وكلمة (السفربرلك) تركية وتعني «الحرب الأولى»، وسميت كذلك لأنها أول حرب شُنت بعد إزاحة السلطان عبد الحميد الثاني من قبل حزب الاتحاد والترقي على الرغم من الوضع المتردي آنذاك للدولة العثمانية، وقيل أيضاً أن معناها «الترحيل الجماعي».
