  • Is iar-pheileadóir Éireannach é Pádraig Gearóid Ó Spealáin, nó Pat Spillane mar atá aithne air as Béarla, a rugadh ar an 2 Nollaig na bliana 1957 i dTeampall Nua, Contae Chiarraí. Luaitear a ainm go minic mar dhuine de na himreoirí is fearr a tháinig as an Ríocht, nó an tír fhéin, riamh. Tá gach duais atá ar fáil sa spórt buaite ag Ó Spealáin, lena chlub áitiúil agus le foireann Chiarraí. Ba pheileadóirí iad a dheartháireacha Mick agus Tom chomh maith. (ga)
