Link light rail is a light rail rapid transit system serving the Seattle metropolitan area in the U.S. state of Washington. It is managed by Sound Transit in partnership with local transit providers, and consists of two non-connected lines: Line 1 (formerly Central Link) in King County, which travels for 25 miles (40 km) between Seattle and Seattle–Tacoma International Airport; and Line T (formerly Tacoma Link) in Pierce County, which runs for under 2 miles (3.2 km) between Downtown Tacoma and Tacoma Dome Station. In 2021, the system had a ridership of 11,754,900, or about 71,600 per weekday as of the second quarter of 2022, primarily on Line 1, and runs trains at frequencies of 6 to 24 minutes.

  • Link Light Rail è un progetto della Sound Transit per il trasporto di massa nell'area metropolitana di Seattle approvato da una votazione nel novembre del 1996. Due linee sono attualmente attive: Tacoma Link, che utilizza vetture costruite dalla Škoda, ed il Central Link, che utilizza 35 vetture costruite dalla Kinki Sharyo. Per quanto riguarda l'University Link, che estenderà il Central Link verso Nord da Downtown Seattle fino all'University of Washington, sono iniziati i lavori di costruzione nel novembre del 2008 e l'attivazione del servizio è prevista per il 2016.
