George Campbell (Cam) Tinning, known as Campbell Tinning, RCA (February 25, 1910 – February 28, 1996) was a Canadian painter, graphic designer, muralist, and illustrator. He was an Official Canadian War Artist in World War II; the only one born in Saskatchewan. After the war, he resided in Montreal but travelled extensively and painted in every Canadian province, the United States, Jamaica, Italy, France, England and Scotland. In 1970, he was elected a full member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts.

Di origine canadese, raffinò la sua formazione artistica alla fine degli anni trenta presso alcune scuole d'arte negli USA, ritornando nel 1939 in Canada, ove si stabilì lavorando come artista ed illustratore. Sue opere vinsero due premi del prestigioso Jessie Dow Prize canadese, nel 1942 e nel 1947. Prima della sua morte, avvenuta nel 1996, già dagli anni ottanta la sua produzione era diventata oggetto di alcune retrospettive sulla war art sia in Canada che all'estero. (it)
