Desmond John Hasler (born 16 February 1961) is an Australian professional rugby league coach, and a former professional rugby league footballer who played as halfback, lock and hooker. He initially played for the Penrith Panthers, and then spent most of his playing career with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, with whom he won premierships in 1987 and 1996. Hasler spent a season with Hull F.C. in England, returning to Manly, before finishing his playing career with the Western Suburbs Magpies. He also played for NSW City, New South Wales in State of Origin and Australia at international level.

  • Desmond Hasler dit Des Hasler, né le 16 février 1961 à Gosford (Australie), est un joueur et entraîneur de rugby à XIII australien évoluant au poste de demi de mêlée, de troisième ligne, de demi d'ouverture ou de centre dans les années 1980 et 1990. En tant que joueur, il débute à Penrith dans le Championnat de Nouvelle-Galles du Sud puis rejoint durant dix saisons Manly-Warringah avec un titre en 1987. Il tente ensuite une expérience en Angleterre en restant une saison à Hull FC avant de revenir à Manly-Warringah avec lequel il remporte l'Australian Rugby League en 1996. il clôt sa carrière avec Western Suburbs.
