Bernard Ashmole, CBE, MC (22 June 1894 – 25 February 1988) was a British archaeologist and art historian, who specialized in ancient Greek sculpture. He held a number of professorships during his lifetime; Yates Professor of Classical Art and Archaeology at the University of London from 1929 to 1948, Lincoln Professor of Classical Archaeology and Art at University of Oxford from 1956 to 1961, and Greek Art and Archaeology at the University of Aberdeen from 1961 to 1963. He was also Keeper of Greek and Roman Antiquities at the British Museum from 1939 to 1956.

Im Anschluss an den Besuch der Forest School in den Jahren 1903–1911 wechselte er auf das Hertford College in Oxford, an dem er 1913 seinen Abschluss machte. Im Ersten Weltkrieg wurde er während der Schlacht an der Somme schwer verwundet, stieg bis zum Captain auf und erhielt das Military Cross. Nach Oxford zurückgekehrt, studierte er Klassische Archäologie bei Percy Gardner und John D. Beazley. Er schloss 1923 als Bachelor of Letters (de) Бернард Эшмол (22 июня 1894, Илфорд, Эссекс — 25 февраля 1988, Шотландия) — британский археолог и историк, специалист по древнегреческой скульптуре. Профессор Лондонского, Оксфордского и Абердинского университетов, член Британской академии (1938). Элиас Эшмол приходится ему родственником.
