- Anna Hume (Fl., 1644) fue una traductora, poeta y escritora escocesa. Hume era hija del poeta e historiador jacobeo . Supervisó la publicación póstuma de History of the House and Race of Douglas and Angus, obra de su padre, publicó The Triumphs of Love, Chastitie, Death: translated out of Petrarch by Mrs. Anna Hume, y también se dice que tradujo muchos de los poemas latinos de su padre. Puesto que las damas de familias asentadas no preveían las letras como una profesión, la publicación de sus obras es un hito y un riesgo que no pasó desapercibido. (es)
- Anna Hume (floruit 1644) was a Scottish translator, poet and writer. Hume was the daughter of Jacobean poet and historian David Hume of Godscroft. She superintended the posthumous publication of her father's History of the House and Race of Douglas and Angus, published The Triumphs of Love, Chastitie, Death: translated out of Petrarch by Mrs. Anna Hume, and is also said to have translated many of her father's Latin poems.
