Andrew James Bridgen (born 28 October 1964) is a British politician and businessman who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for North West Leicestershire since 2010. A member of the Conservative Party and prominent figure on its right wing, he is a long-term critic of the European Union (EU) and supported Brexit in the 2016 membership referendum. Bridgen was a vocal supporter of the Eurosceptic pressure group Leave Means Leave, as well as a prominent critic of Theresa May during her time as Leader of the Conservative Party and Prime Minister. Bridgen supported efforts to remove Conservative Prime Ministers David Cameron, Theresa May, Boris Johnson and Liz Truss from office.
