The 2022 Rugby Europe Championship was the sixth Rugby Europe Championship, the annual rugby union for the top European national teams outside the Six Nations Championship, and the 52nd edition of the competition (including all its previous incarnations as the FIRA Tournament, Rugby Union European Cup, FIRA Nations Cup, FIRA Trophy and European Nations Cup). The 2022 Championship was contested by Georgia, The Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Russia, and Spain. As in several other sports, Russia were disqualified after Week 3 due to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.

  • Rugby Europe Championship 2022 – najwyższy poziom rozgrywek w ramach sezonu 2021/2022 Rugby Europe International Championships. Jako obrońca tytułu do rozgrywek przystępowała reprezentacja Gruzji. Oprócz niej w zawodach miało uczestniczyć pięć drużyn, których lista nie uległa zmianie w porównaniu do poprzednich rozgrywek. Spowodowane było to pandemię COVID-19 i wynikłą z tej przyczyny przerwą w rozgrywaniu drugiego poziomu zawodów w sezonie 2020/2021. W konsekwencji w grupie mistrzowskiej nie przewidziano awansów i spadków po zakończeniu edycji 2021. Kalendarz nowych rozgrywek ogłoszono 15 grudnia 2021 r. (pl)
