Carl Anthony Fisher, SSJ (November 24, 1945 – September 2, 1993) was an African-American Catholic prelate who served as an Auxiliary Bishop of Los Angeles from 1987 until his death in 1993. He was the first (and as of 2022, the only) Black Catholic bishop on the West Coast. He was a member of the Society of St. Joseph of the Sacred Heart, a religious community that serves African Americans. He was the third Josephite to be made a bishop, and as of 2022, the latest.
